Kindergarten
Crane Elementary School District (CESD) in Yuma Arizona is excited to welcome kindergarten and preschool students for the 2024-2025 school year. Registration is now open to all children who will be five years of age before September 1, 2024.
Families wanting to register their child for kindergarten can do so today online and by visiting any Crane school office. Parents and guardians can expect to fill out registration documents and will need to bring their child’s birth certificate, immunization records, guardianship papers (if applicable), and proof of Arizona residency.
Examples for proof of Arizona residency can including the following items:
- Valid Arizona driver's license, Arizona identification card or motor vehicle registration
- Valid Arizona Address Confidentiality Program authorization card
- Real estate property deed or mortgage documents
- Property tax bill
- Residential lease or rental agreement (including Section 8 agreement or off-base military housing)
- Utility bill (water, electric, gas, cable, or phone)
- Bank or credit card statement
- W-2 wage statement
- Payroll stub
- Certificate of tribal enrollment (506 form) or other identification issued by a recognized
Indian tribe located in Arizona
- Other documentation from a state, tribal or federal agency
- Temporary on-base billeting facility for military families
